Approach
The Adaptive Approach consists of four phases: Conceptual Overview, Iteration Plan, Iterations, and Checkpoints.
Conceptual Overview
The Conceptual Overview phase captures requirements and documents high-level software design. It is the time for Avenity to understand your vision, needs, and goals.
Iteration Plan
The Iteration Plan includes a prototype of the base software and identifies which features and requirements will be developed for each Iteration. The Iteration Plan outlines tasks and goals, so there is little room for misunderstanding about the direction of the project.
Iteration
During Iterations, the Development and Testing Teams complete design and development of each requirement identified in the Iteration Plan. Each new Iteration builds on the last and allows for the easy incorporation of additional requirements. As your solution develops, we know that you will want to expand goals and change your minds, which is why each Iteration allows for faster and easier change and growth.
Iteration Review
Upon completion of an Iteration, we present the software to our client, providing a full view into the functioning software. These reviews engage clients to offer feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Build to Budget
Together, we define the number and duration of each Iteration
Adapting to Change
We make improvements and changes throughout development
Checkpoints
Keeps the project on track along the whole way
